:: 2006 Purchases Recap ::

Okay... so the end is coming... of 2006, that is. Being famous as a chronic shopaholic who buy anything anytime anywhere, I look back at my closet (and credit card bills...). I found 9 of the greatest buy I've got this year... and proudly present: my achievement of 2006. =D

Oh, the pictures so teeny tiny... but let's see...
top row L-R : Fish-eye Lomo camera, Housewives Tarot (so hilarious!), iPod (2nd best ever), Max my MacBookPro (best ever!!), Nars Cosmetics
bottom row L-R: Paulo Coelho books, several dresses, Citizen of Humanity and Paige Premium Denim Jeans, and my sweet, red suede Charles and Keith peep toe shoes.

Whew! Looking forward to 2007!!

:: to give and to share ::

Tis’ the season to be… expecting gifts and greeting cards! My last post so somber and sounded very pathetic. Christmas is all about love and sharing and giving, and on a religious note: to celebrate the birth of our Savior. So, let’s start giving me stuff!

I’ve made a wishlist… in case there are secret santas who wish to give me gifts! :D
Gimme:

1. Ornament cards
2. Adorable cubby tray
3. Holga Panoramic
4. Harman Kardon speakers for iPod
5. Marc Jacobs peep-toe shoes
6. Anything Marc Jacobs
7. Sushi related objects
8. Anything from Anthropologie

and you'll be nice enough to wrap them in preeeetty preeetty papers from Paper Source, and add this preeeetty lace tape...
tee hee! :D

:: Blue Christmas ::

When Christmas comes I always feel blue. Maybe it's the weather, or the sudden feel of loneliness... I missed those times when my family used to gather round a big Christmas tree in my grandparents house, meeting my cousins, waiting for the gifts distribution. I don't even remember what the gifts were, but the feeling of having a lot of people to share the joy of Christmas was very strong back then. Plus, December 25th was my Grandfather's birthday, so we never missed his birthday up until we all left to study in the states. And then he passed away in 1998. Then we never spent holidays together anymore. We only met at someone's weddings or baby showers or birthday, but never Christmas. Am I the only one who's missing those moment? Any of my cousins feel the same way? They have their own families now, therefore I think I'm the only one who still remember the warmth of those days. Oh, dare I wish? :)

:: had my heart badly broken ::

No, no, this is not a lovey-dovey drama breakup story... but it hurts just the same. How do you feel if your dream is crushed? Ever since I graduated, my friend and I have been talking about taking a Master's degree, be it an MBA or MFA, does not really matter. Actually I shared a lot of similar dreams with this particular friend of mine. When the brand new iMac launched, we dreamed that we will have one. Then we dreamed to drive the adorable buttercup-yellow VW Beetle. Then we dreamed on backpacking through Western Europe (in real,not just a line to pick up men like Rachel Green did to Ross Geller). And we dreamed to take Master's degree together. Well, she did most of what we dreamed of and got what we wanted... while I'm still dreaming. I really hate waiting around to make things happen. I want to make things happen! But in this case, I badly need help... financially. And they turned me down almost immediately. Should I keep on pushing this, or should I give up? I'm very crushed ... But I'll be just fine, in time... :D
